High Ercall Hall

My speculation on the layout of the main Hall buildings around the middle 1600s. The existing hall is in black with the one that got demolished below it. This is taken roughly from the Time Team excavations. The moat and where the Eel pond is marked is from the OS 1881 map of High Ercall as evidence of there existance can be seen on that.

This image is taken from a book published in 1906 called 'Shropshire - Historical Descriptive Biographical' at the time of this photo the occupier was Jas. H. James-Moore.

The Arches which stand behind the Hall, possibly from the grander Hall that once stood along with the present one, repositioned at some time to this position.
